Optimization of desktop workstations and graphics for Scavolini
Scavolini SpA has been producing kitchens since 1961, boasting consolidated experience gained over time in response to the tastes and trends of almost three generations of consumers. Today it is synonymous not only with the kitchen, but also for the bathroom and living room: a point of reference for the entire sector and, in the collective imagination, as the “most loved by Italians“.
CUSTOMER NEEDS
Scavolini expressed the need to optimize the desktop and graphic workstations thanks to the installation of Microsoft Office and CAD software respectively, looking for a solution that could guarantee reliability, continuous updating and high performance.
Furthermore, considering the high number of workstations, it was also necessary to contain energy consumption as much as possible without affecting performance.
beanTech has created a VDI infrastructure for Scavolini based on Dell Technologies, VMware and NVIDIA vGPU technology, capable of providing over 500 virtual desktops.
The high solidity and scalability of the solution allows the IT Manager to meet the requests of collaborators as well as new market challenges, guaranteeing:
- Unlimited resource availability
- Remote access with 3D accelerated graphics
- Project renderings
- Removal of “Single Point of Failure”
- High reliability always guaranteed
- Fully scalable as needed
